I spent the night searching this 23rd room, looking for the door to dreams.
I moved things, tidied, untidied. I ran, climbed, crawled. I think I even remember flying off, before the four pillows pulled me back …
Only in the early hours of the morning did I find it. The whole time, the image had been there, snuggled inside me.
In the centre of the bed, floating amongst the rest of the stars, my double was waiting to talk to me of infinity.
